I recently ventured out into the world of pyrography, also known as woodburning.
And just like with anything else in life that crosses my path, I dove in head first and didn’t look back.
Such is my life!

the art or technique of decorating wood or leather by burning a design on the surface with a heated metallic point.
Pyrography is a fancy term for wood burning. I have fond memories of playing with my dad’s set growing up and decided to give it an official “big girl” try.
And I am a•ddic•ted!
I would like to merge the art of mosaics and pyrography together…somewhere down the road.
